Alone is coming to PC
The droid gets a whole world. For PC I am rebuilding Alone in Unity, with seasons, weather and an island that lives. Early Access on Steam is planned for 2027.
Alone is getting a big brother. A week after the Android release the real work starts: a version for PC, rebuilt from the ground up in Unity. Early Access on Steam is planned for 2027.
Why start again. The first PC version ran in Electron. For what Alone has to become on a big screen, that was not enough: real light, water that moves, weather that rolls in and seasons that change the island. That version is now in the archive, and the droid is moving to Unity.
What stays. The calm. The droid never dies, a mistake only costs time, and Zoey the puppy still follows you around. The game is made for a controller, with the Steam Deck in mind.
Alone for PC is now on the Entertainment page, with the first images from the Unity project. That is where the news will follow too.
