Aivion Studios continues as a limited company
What started as the name above my own work is now a registered company. Aivion Studios B.V. is official.

Aivion Studios is officially a private limited company. What started as the name above my own work is now a registered business: Aivion Studios B.V., with its registered office in Zeist, the Netherlands.
From the outside little changes. Same studio, same products, same maker. What does change is the foundation underneath. A B.V. turns a collection of projects into a company with its own annual accounts, its own contracts and a clear separation between private and business. That is exactly what you need when you build software other people put their bookkeeping, their invoices and their hours into.
Why now? The Bird products are no longer experiments. BankBird runs live with users, FactBird, ClockBird, CarteBird and NestBird are ready. The moment people pay for software they want to know who they are dealing with. A legal form, a chamber of commerce number and an address are not a formality then, they are the answer to that question.
Something changes in how I look at the work too. Aivion Studios is not an agency taking on assignments but a studio that builds and runs its own products and platforms. That choice has been in everything I make since this spring, and the B.V. is the administrative version of the same choice: something that keeps existing, even on a day I am not there.
The chamber of commerce number, the VAT number and a phone number will follow once the registration is fully processed. They will appear with the company details at the bottom of the site.
Aivion Studios B.V. One maker, five products, and from now on a company around it.
