MiniScape Games is live and my first game is nearly finished

Midnight Dash Neon Overdrive is in its final test round. A simple game, built with ChatGPT and Claude, and a year ago the exact same plan went nowhere.

MiniScape Games is online. miniscapegames.com is now home to the studio's games arm, with the first title on it: Midnight Dash Neon Overdrive. It is in its final test round and comes to Android soon.

What it is. One road, three lanes and a car that never slows down. You tap the left or right half of your screen, and that is the entire control scheme. The barriers, the crystals and the weather come at you in the dark, and you get about half a second to choose. Six worlds, three cars, portrait screen, one thumb.

The game stays free: no ads, no in-app purchases, no subscription. There is no account and not a single network request either, so your high scores stay on your own phone.

Why this is worth a bulletin. A year ago I tried exactly this, and nothing worked. Models handing back half a file, code that made no sense, builds that refused to run. Now, with ChatGPT and Claude alongside me, a few weeks were enough for a game that simply works.

It is a simple game, and that is the point. This first one is mainly a test: what is possible now, how a build works from start to finish, whether it plays well, and what a store release actually takes. Answers to those questions are worth more than a big plan that never ships.

What happens next. The build goes through its final test round, then the Android release follows. There is no store link yet, because it is not on Google Play yet. On this site Midnight Dash is already there: among the apps and games on the homepage and under Games on /werk.
